ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN KONSUMEN DALAM PENGEMBANGAN STANDAR PEGANGAN TANGAN PADA KERETA COMMUTER LINE
Abstract
Kereta commuter line merupakan sarana transportasi yang banyak digunakan saat ini, khususnya di daerah Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi (Jabodetabek). Jumlah penumpang yang banyak ternyata tidak didukung dengan jumlah tempat duduk yang seimbang. Oleh karena itu, ketersediaan pegangan tangan (handgrip) sangat diperlukan dalam menjaga keseimbangan penumpang dengan posisi berdiri khususnya saat kereta commuter line sedang berjalan. Ketersediaan pegangan tangan yang berkualitas menjadi harapan setiap penumpang berdiri. Namun yang tersedia saat ini belum cukup memenuhi kebutuhan dari penumpang. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, pengembangan standar pegangan tangan pada kereta commuter line sangat diperlukan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kebutuhan konsumen dalam pengembangan standar pegangan tangan pada kereta commuter line. Penelitian dibagi menjadi dua tahap. Pertama, identifikasi kondisi terkini dari pegangan tangan yang tersedia berdasarkan pandangan konsumen. Kedua, konfirmasi parameter yang akan dikembangkan berdasarkan kondisi terkini yang diperoleh pada tahap pertama menggunakan skala Likert. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara purposive sampling terhadap penumpang kereta api pada kedua tahapan yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kondisi pegangan tangan yang ada berdasarkan pandangan konsumen, dan diperoleh tujuh (7) persyaratan yang akan dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen. Persyaratan tersebut menjadi rekomendasi dalam pengembangan standar pegangan tangan pada kereta commuter line sesuai dengan kondisi di Indonesia. Sehingga standar yang dihasilkan mampu diaplikasikan dengan baik dan memberikan keselamatan dan kenyamanan bagi penumpang kereta commuter line.
