PENERAPAN STANDAR BIDANG BAHAN BANGUNAN DALAM PEMBANGUNAN INFRASTRUKTUR PERUMAHAN DAN PERMUKIMAN

Abstract

The Ministry of Public Works has issued number standards. The extent to which the standards have been in conformance with user need especially in the area of settlements in central to this study. The methodologies adopted for this study include field survey, face-to-face interviews, and statistical data analysis. The data analysis reveals that especially the material-durability-associated national standard, including SNI 03-2854-1992 on Chloride-Ion Specification in Concrete, SNI 03-2914-1992 on Waterproofed Reinforced Concrete Specification , SNI 03-2404-2000 on Termite Protection Procedures for Housing and Building Construction, and SNI 03-24052000 provide satisfactory data. A total of about 90.48 % respondents have acknowledged these standards, and approximately 89.10% affirm that these standards have sufficiently addressed problems in real practice More than 75% respondents agree that these standards should not be modified whereas about 82.33 % respondents are yet to require technical guidelines.
