PENERAPAN SPM BIDANG AIR MINUM DAN SANITASI DALAM PEMBANGUNAN INFRASTRUKTUR PERUMAHAN DAN PERMUKIMAN

Abstract

Basically Ministry of Public Works has issued a number of standard, guidelines and manuals (here in after named as
SPM). The questions arise on how far such issued SPMs particularly related to buildings and housings have
fulfilled the need of the users. This is the intention of this research. The methods used comprise survey and
interview, gathering field data and proceeded through statistical analysis. The results of research which are
focused on (SNI 03-2398-2002) Design of Septic tank with soakway, SNI 19-6774-2002 Design package unit
water treatment plant and Pt S–07–2000-C Spesification of solid waste accumulation with controlled landfill at
landfill site. about 71,15% of the respondent know these standards, however 71,8% of the respondent suggested to
increase dissemination. 54,48% of the respondent do not clearly understand the substances. 87,17% of the
respondent suggested to revise the standards, while a more detailed technical guidelines were suggested to be
made by 88,46% of the respondent. Input expostulated as according to requirement in field to improve; repair the
quality of items and substances in improving applying of SPM for involved in development of drinking water and
sanitize infrastructure.
