PENGUJIAN BANTALAN BETON UNTUK TRACK JALAN KERETA API SEPUR 1435 MM MENGGUNAKAN STANDAR UJI AREMA
Abstract
This paper discuss about test method for pretension monoblock concrete ties of S-35 / 20 type, and used with rail
of R-54 / R-60 type, that will be used for new tract at Sumatera. The aim of testing is to know the quality of
monoblock ties, so it can be know if such monoblock ties technically can operate and meet the safety
transportation requirement. Test method refered is AREMA (America Railway Engineering and Maintenance-ofWay Association) standard as recommended by Directorate Technique of Train. From this can be concluded that
the 2nd speciment of 3 speciments fail to meet the test requirement, while the other speciments fulfil the test
requirement and can be used in operation. So, this production series of monoblock ties in general can be used.
