Manfaat Ekonomi Penerapan Standar Pada Usaha Kecil Menengah Menggunakan ISO Methodology
Abstract
Salah satu pilar perekonomian suatu bangsa adalah usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM). UKM mempunyai peran strategis dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional dalam hal penyerapan tenaga kerja dan berperan dalam pendistribusian hasil-hasil pembangunan. Peranan UKM dalam perekonomian bangsa harus ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan daya saing produk UKM, salah satunya dengan penerapan standar. Penerapan standar memberikan manfaat positif bagi UKM, namun manfaat penerapan standar tersebut lebih banyak yang bersifat intangible dan bersifat makro. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui manfaat ekonomi penerapan standar pada UKM dengan menggunakan Economic Benefit Standard - ISO Metodology. Penerapan standar pada UKM memberikan keuntungan (benefit) ekonomi, pada studi kasus di UD Gerak Tani (UKM produsen bumbu siap pakai di Bekasi) mendapatkan keuntungan ekonomi sebesar Rp. 110.590.179,00 per tahun, UD Sari Rasa (UKM produsen tempe kedelai segar di Semarang) sebesar Rp. 348.762.300,00 per tahun dan PT Bali Alus (UKM produsen bahan-bahan spa di Denpasar) sebesar Rp. 45.506.702,00 per tahun.
